Hi. Your blog is awesome! I'm a member of BWIE. I'm an American living/working in Brussels. I married a Norwegian man almost a year ago and may one day move to Oslo - not sure when that will be - however I must say I've truly grown as a person when I decided to move abroad to study. The smartest last minute decision I've ever made.

BTW... your son is adorable.

Klem

Hi Lesley,

Don't look like you 'chillin' to me, looks as if you've been writing a lot! Hoping all is well with you up in 'Danmark' and that you are getting ready for those cold North Sea winds this winter. Chop wood honey, chop plenty of wood for the fireplace...:-)

I just read (quickly) an interview with Danish author Leif Davidsen at Germany's Spiegel International online about the upcoming national elections in Denmark. The headline caught my attention and I immediately thought of you and of the recent racially-charged national elections down in "der Schweiz" (Switzerland). What's this all about up North?

P.S. There have been some new comments to that Black Women in Europe Congress post at Jewels last month. I think that I must revive the dialogue with a follow-on post this month on the subject of modern black women in Europe. Stay tuned 'cause I've got a great follow-on post coming.
