thank you, thank you, Lesley-Ann! THis really brings me back to those Frankie Crocker days. When I was a freshman at Morgan State University, we were on a bus trip when all of us homesick New Yorkers spontaneously broke into this song and sang it from beginning to end. Everyone else thought we were crazy, but it brought us together and took us home at the same time.
I'll be rolling out my third memoir, currently untilted over at Substack . In it, I cover the period of time when I returned to Denmark during the pandemic, my move to a small island and all it revealed.
