Poem #3 - Universal Spaces (A Poem a Day)

Universal Spaces
Excuse me
If I’m not
A lady
--It’s because
I’ve never
Learned.
But That’s no
Reason
To be Shady,
Wisdom’s
Always earned.
Secrets told
become
Real old;
So keep them
To yourself--
In That way
you’ll certify
There’s al-
ways
no regret.
So go ahead
And take a look
To find out
What it means,
But Just remember--
There’re no book
for
Post-colonial
dreams.
Ancestral places
Ancestor spaces
Follow wherever
I go
Life is breath
So breathe deep
And keep it in the
flow.
