Thanks to all the sisters who made the Black Women in Denmark Picnic '09 a success! Although the forecast was rain, there was only Sunshine, warmth and smiles. I'm already looking forward to next years!

I hope to meet enough sistas in Slovenia to one day hold something like that here! Looks like fun! For now, I will settle for a foreign folks BBQ when we can get it together again! :)
WoW! Look at the Sistahs in DENMARK! This is so cool!

Was this a family event or just close friends hanging out.
It was an event that was open to all who were interested in participating a Black women in Denmark picnic. That being said, I met a few new people that day, as I know others did as well! ;-)

Hi Lesley...my name is Ernest White (aka Fly Brother) and I'll be in Copenhagen this weekend (Nov 2-5), crashing with an Afro-Brazilian friend of mine getting her masters in the city. Would love to meet up for a coffee/meal if you've got time. Sorry for posting this to the comments, but I couldn't find an email address. Please let me know if you're interested and/or have time and thanks!
